Jim Tyrrell, ATC, CSCS is the Facility Manager of the AthletiCo Sports Performance Center. Jim brings a rich and successful history of performance training to AthletiCo with over 10 years of experience training thousands of athletes from all walks of life.
As an athletic trainer, Jim has had the fortune of working with different professional, college, and high school organizations providing sound sports medicine services while also implementing superior strength and conditioning concepts. Along the way, Jim’s knowledge has earned many different results including a national championship as a player and three as an athletic trainer and strength and conditioning coach.
In addition to setting new trends in performance enhancement, Jim, a Type I diabetic, continues to fight the war against obesity educating today’s youth about proper nutrition pertaining to development and providing numerous lectures about diabetes in sports.

Will Haskell, YCS Lev. II, ACE, is a premier strength and movement instructor recognized nationally for his work in the youth development industry.
A well-spoken leader and educator, Will’s passion for providing educational seminars for parents and coaches has earned him considerable attention as a frequently sought after resource to help spur changes in the current youth sports system in the U.S.
Since Will’s emergence into the youth development field in 2003, Will has developed nearly 500 athletes, has made numerous community service presentations, a television appearance, and has published over a dozen articles on topics pertaining to youth development and the culture of youth sports. Will also serves as an online informational resource for services such as Baseballstrength.com and JPFitness.com as a youth development expert.
Most recently, Will has taken over the performance enhancement responsibilities for the AthletiCo Sports Performance Center at the McCook Athletic & Exposition Center (MAX). Additionally, Will serves as a pre-season strength coach for the Chicago Sky, a rising franchise that is embarking on its second season in the WNBA.

Kale Hoyt, CSCS, joins the AthletiCo Performance Enhancement staff after an illustrious collegiate baseball career at Trinity Christian College. In 2005, Kale graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science and since then, is now entering his second season as strength coach for the Chicago Fire, a Major League Soccer organization that in 2006, finished only 8 points behind D.C United while vying for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
Prior to Kale’s current tenure as an MLS strength coach, Kale served as a strength coach for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, a Single-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners that was once home to current Major League superstar, Alex Rodriguez.

Nick Raab, MS, PES, CPT, is a highly credentialed and educated Performance Enhancement Specialist that has been a part of the AthletiCo Performance Enhancement staff for over 3 years.
A former All-American Track Athlete and Football Player at the University of Dubuque, Nick’s educational background, combined with his own athletic experience, has transformed Nick into the prototype of what the future of strength and conditioning has in store.
Nick’s distinguished background has afforded Nick the responsibility of executing Performance Enhancement duties for the Lyons Swim Club, Barrington Area Soccer Association, St. Rita Baseball Team, and the Lemont High School Football team.

Aaron Manheimer, CPT, PES, a certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, serves as a Performance Enhancement Specialist at the Gold Coast and McCook AthletiCo facilities.
Outside of Aaron’s athletic accomplishments as an elite Rugby athlete, Aaron’s knowledge and experience have made him a valued member of the AthletiCo Performance Enhancement Staff.
A graduate of UNC-Asheville, Aaron is an instructor for AthletiCo’s Speed Enhancement and ACL Injury Prevention programs. Currently, Aaron serves as the strength and conditioning coach for the Chicago Lions, a Midwest Super League Rugby organization that has made it to the national semi-finals twice in the last 2 years.
